Qualifications for Success

• Education: Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent healthcare experience.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and client interaction.
• Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and vehicle access.

A Typical Day as a FunctionAbility Rehabilitation Assistant (RA)

• Client Support: Assist in client evaluations and therapy sessions with supervision from OTs, PTs, or SLPs.
• Therapy Assistance: Help clients with exercises, activities, and daily living tasks.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client progress and therapy activities.
• Team Collaboration: Work with the rehabilitation team to support client goals and treatment plans.
• Care Planning Participation: Contribute to team meetings and client care plans.
