Qualifications for Success 

• University degree in Occupational Therapy. 
• Membership in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) or British Columbia (COTBC). 
• Strong client-centered approach and teamwork skills. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. 
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle. 

What Is a Typical Day as an FA Occupational Therapist? 

• Assess and treat individuals with neurological, orthopedic, mental health disorders, and injuries. 
• Assist clients in setting and achieving meaningful goals in home and community settings. 
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. 
• Collaborate with community partners and rehab professionals to support client goals and independence. 
• Stay updated with professional knowledge through training and networking.
