Veronica Takes, OT and Tracy Martin, MSW Speak at OBIA 2017 Conference

The Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA) in collaboration with thier participating Community Associations recently held their  2017 Acquired Brain Injury Provincial Conference in Niagara!

FunctionAbility’s Veronica Takes, OT along with Tracy Martin, MSW were in attendance as presenters. The duo shared their presentation titled “Broadening the Lens: Integrating a Trauma Informed Perspective within Neuro-Rehabilitation”

The presentation focused on sharing leading edge research findings in the field of trauma and offered an expanded understanding of trauma and incorporation of the trauma informed perspective in rehabilitation.
